About us
In the early 2000s, a group of people in the United States who were passionate about Disciple Making Movements began praying for something big—a Gospel movement led by locals in the Middle East. At the time less than three percent of the region’s population was Christian, and by 2050 it would drop to less than one percent. On top of that, 87% of Muslims had never even met a Christian or heard the Gospel. The need was urgent—more disciples and churches were needed to share the hope of Jesus in these historically “closed” countries.
In 2005, those prayers and dreams turned into action. We set out with a bold vision: to see the Spirit ignite a Gospel movement that would change the trajectory of Christianity in the Near East. What started in five countries—Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq, Cyprus, and Syria—has now expanded to 31 nations, with more than 60,000 Discovery Bible Study groups formed and countless lives transformed by the message of Jesus.

Strategic priorities

We foster trust, embrace cultural differences, and rely on the Spirit to work beyond strategies or denominations.

NEO equips disciples to disciple others, creating a sustainable Gospel movement that grows with every generation.

We empower local leaders to disciple and support their own communities for authentic, lasting impact.

Through tangible acts of service, called “access ministry,” we bring Christ’s love to communities in practical and transformative ways.
